Excerpts from "Leisure", by WH Davies best says what I was thinking when I took this shot during a trip to the Lake District with my parents... This view is of Haweswater, Cumbria, on a rare (for me, at least :P ) blue sky (and a little hail) day :)

Nice! What always get me is that no matter how magnificent a terrain might be, the clouds always have the last say! That is, the clouds're casting their shadows on the hills, effectively saying, "I'm yo' daddy." =p

Just amazing. What awesome hues, and the lighting is nothing short of incredible. Awesome textures too. My favorite part is the depth that the near grass seems to have...it just jumps right out at you. What a pity about those lines, but they're pretty faint..not that bad. Great composition, I love the framing. All in all, absolutely great.
