Live this day as if it will be your last. Remember that you will only find ''tomorrow'' on the calendars of fools. Forget yesterday's defeats and ignore the problems of tomorrow. This is it. Doomsday. All you have. Make it the best day of your year. The saddest words you can ever utter are, ''If I had my life to live over again.'' Take the baton, now. Run with it! This is your day! Beginning today, treat everyone you meet, friend or foe, loved one or stranger, as if they were going to be dead at midnight. Extend to each person, no matter how trivial the contact, all the care and kindness and understanding and love that you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same again.

This picture is dedicated to Rob Sherratt, who died recently in a tragic diving accident.
So, I wouldn’t normally use this forum to discuss things in detail, but I’m finding that I can’t think of a better way to describe my thoughts. Rob was a great guy – a diving instructor with over thirty year’s experience. Originally a rescue diver in the mines of Cornwall, Rob was an honest, hard working and caring man. Rob leaves behind Lucy and their three children.
With a genuine passion for his lifestyle, the Lizard Diver was always eager to talk about diving, and would share his knowledge at every opportunity. He was an incredibly skilled diver, and this confidence and surety flowed from him when he was teaching. He taught us to dive in Cornwall and continued to train us during the winter months. It is a rare thing in life to meet people with whom we connect so easily, and it is a testament to Rob that, even though we only briefly knew him, this news has hit us, and many others, so very hard. A great man, a man of stature - an excellent teacher, he was able to calm my reservations and I trusted him so implicitly, such was his poise and attitude.
I am choked by the recent news, and I am finding that I am quite unable to express myself. I wish he was still here.
Beautiful picture and wonderful sentiment. I am very sorry for your loss. Rob is in a better place now, and he will always live on and be remembered in the hearts of those who loved him
Very touching text. It means something special to me as I do know some divers from the Penzance area and I always have a weak spot for this part of the world. Great shot of the End by the way.
